Grand Junction City Hall
Room acoustics, sound isolation, and mechanical noise/vibration control design services were provided for
this new city hall. Audio-video systems were designed for the city council chambers, hearing room, training
room and ten conference rooms. The AV system in the city council chambers has individual LCD video screens
for each council and staff member to view computer graphics, and other video material, including document
images from a camera mounted over the podium. Two front-projection screens are used to display information
for the audience. Broadcast cameras with remotely-controlled pan/tilt provide program feeds to the City's local
access cable TV channel.
