Englewood Civic Center
Acoustical consulting and AV design were provided for redevelopment of an
existing department store building to provide new City Council Chambers, Municipal Courtroom
and related administrative areas. Recommendations included acoustical treatments, wall assemblies,
mechanical system noise and vibration control. The AV systems for the Council Chambers included
council member LCD displays, video projection for audience, council voting system, sound
reinforcement, and meeting recording system. The Court Room system provides sound reinforcement
and a video arraignment system between the Civic Center and Jail. Touchscreen panel control is
located at the Clerk’s position and at the podium in the Council Chambers and, at the Judge’s seat
in the Courtroom.
