LEED® for Schools for New Construction and Major Renovations was introduced in 2007. It is currently the only LEED document with Prerequisites and potential Credits for acoustics. The LEED document references ANSI S12.60 - Acoustical Performance Criteria, Design Requirements, and Guidelines for Schools. DLAA is active in the technical organizations that contributed to both of these documents, and we are very familiar with their application. We have completed the worksheets and documentation necessary to show design compliance. We are very experienced in the post construction testing that may also be used to show compliance if that method is chosen.
